We are pleased to announce the sale of Generational Equity client MS Rubber Company to TRG, LLC. The transaction closed September 12, 2023.
Founded in 1963, and located in Jackson, Mississippi, MS Rubber Company (MS Rubber) is an industrial supplier and fabricator of rubber products including hydraulic hoses, fittings, belts, gaskets, rubber sheeting, expansion joints, plastic sheets and related products. The Company is an authorized dealer of Danfoss Hydraulics products.
MS Rubber maintains excellent relationships with commercial industrial businesses in Mississippi and the Southern United States. The Company’s products are used by a variety of industries including manufacturing, public administration, waste disposal, construction, mining, agriculture, and more.
Headquartered in Appleton, Wisconsin, TRG provides maintenance services, critical equipment (new and restored), and the distribution of sealing solutions for various United States and Canadian industrial facilities.
Generational Equity Executive Managing Director of M&A – Central Region, Michael Goss, and his team, led by Senior Managing Director, Cory Strickland, with the support of Vice President, M&A, Lance Thomasson, closed the deal. Senior Managing Director Doug Morrow established the initial relationship with MS Rubber.
“This was one of those rare instances where the perfect seller and the perfect buyer came together at the same time. MS Rubber, run by sisters Sandy and Rhonda were ready to exit the family’s industrial supply business and along came TRG who is also in the industrial supply business and wanting to expand, and we made a deal,” said Strickland.
Strickland added, “It is great to know that we have found the perfect fit to take MS Rubber into the future and to carry on the family’s legacy.”
